Hulikere Estate India
Our second report is about a farm called Hulikere Estate which translated basically means Tiger Lake Estate. We will be working very closely with this farm over this year (2013) to produce some outstanding Indian Arabica to crop in 2014 in both natural and washed plantation A and in PB.

Origin trip to India
We continually want to better represent certain origins and one way to do this is through building our direct relations at origin. We already roast a couple of estates from India, but we would like to find a few smaller more obscure quality estates to offer our customers so we have just finished planning our next origin trip to India.
Field Trip Report - Finca Santa Clara
When you enter through the farm gates of Santa Clara (we visited in 2010) the first thing that strikes you is the manicured lower coffee growing areas and surrounding gardens. Nothing is out of place.
Right queue wrong queue
Are you one of those people that tend to get in the wrong queue? – You know what I mean! – 7 people in one queue and 6 in the other – you join the shorter queue which ends up looking like it’s taking longer, then as you are standing there you jump to the faster moving queue and it ends up taking longer than the original queue - worst mistake of the day!
