Stone a Crow

Just smelling the dry aroma of this coffee tells you you're in for a treat - and something very different. We were at Adado this year and this is the new crop in 2014.

Coffee: Ethiopia Adado G3 Natural Percentage: 65% Varietal(s): Mixed Heirloom Coffee: Tanzania Blackburn Est. Washed Percentage: 35% Varietal(s): Nyassa, Bourbon and Kent

This is a great blend with some powerful sweet acidity - almost effervescent in the cup - but that is the whole point of this blend – we are not talking bitter here, we are talking about sweet acidity. These coffees have been roasted specifically for this to show off the sweet fruitiness above all else. It has taken a while to perfect and it needs to be pulled well. In milk (if you must) it is light and refreshing bordering on beautiful with a lovely light crema.
