This promises to be one of the best trips we have pulled together, although I must say we have had more then a little help on this one from our friend and Guatemalan consultant Maria Reyna - truth be told we could not have pull this one off without her help and her contacts on the ground in GUA.
We will update the schedule over the next week as it’s confirmed – but first on the list is: Finca Santa Ana which is found within the Department of Santa Rosa, perfectly located between two volcanoes the Tecuamburro and Pacaya, and abreast the La Gavia mountain. Rising to an altitude of 1770 meters (5400 feet) it is immersed in a damp, wet tropical forest belonging to the Fraijanes Plateau Region.
Aroma and flavour – walnut, chocolate, roasted nuts, vanilla, and honey. Caramel, Acidity- delicate, bright, crisp, malic,
Notes-transparent, creamy body.
Will update on Finca La Montaña, Finca Las Flores Barberena, Finca Santa Rosa, Finca El Silencio, Finca San Francisco Tecuamburro and Finca Pasajquim over the next week with more being added.
