We're moving

The move will give us a separate roasting area from our packing and coffee lab areas, which will help in production and general efficiencies, and give us more room for new coffees and green stock.

Tanhouse has some history too over a plain faceless industrial unit (which was the other option) – the earliest reference to anyone living at Tanhouse, was in 1722 when Thomas Risbridger worked here as a Tanner, hence the name. So artisans have worked here for 100’s of years. The roastery will be based just behind Tanhouse barn and off the main road to Rusper, which is of particular interest nationally because it is a rare example of a medieval hall house in Surrey - so you can imagine the setting.

The move should be complete by the week 15 and there will be no interruption in roasting or ordering.
